Main job responsibilities include Programming and development using ASP, ASP.NET and other development tools. Translate requirement specifications to software design. Work with solution application analyst to define requirement specifications. We need a programmer who has the vision to see business requirements, translate them to software functionalities, design and program with the right structures.

Qualifications:

  • Must have more than 4 years experience with the following technologies: Microsoft .NET, SQL / T-SQL, Visual Basic / VBScript, JavaScript, HTML / DHTML, AJAX, CSS, XML, Microsoft SQL Server
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Information System
  • Microsoft SQL Server Database development experience
  • Must have thorough understanding of the browser DOM and challenges posed by different browsers and browser versions
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
  • Understand and perform beta-testing processes, including revision testing
  • Must be able to generate code that follows documented company coding conventions
  • Must be able to generate code documentation following company documentation standards

Business Development Manager, GTA

Position Description

Base Salary - $90,000 - 100,000
Target Bonus - $50,000 - 100,000

The BDM is required to develop business sales opportunities and manage relationships with new and existing Client accounts. They will work strategically with Client Partners & Account Managers on new opportunities with key and strategic clients.  The primary focus is to grow the immediate and continuing sales pipeline, position long-term opportunities, and lead the sales strategy for Client's Technology Services and Package Implementation & Support business.  The BDM is also expected to build and maintain strong relations with the vendors where Client has, or is focused on developing, a strategic partnership.  

Specific Responsibilities:

-Execute a go-to-market strategy to significantly grow and increase the profitability of Client's Package Implementation & Support business. Business development target areas will be defined with the manager in alignment with Client's regional and global go-to-market focus.
-Establish and drive a disciplined sales and account management process.
-Identify new sales opportunities for Client's Professional Services business  
-Deliver targeted sales results both via personal sales efforts and in tandem with Client's Account Management team with specific emphasis on increasing demand for Client services across the financial services industry.
-Collaborate closely at executive levels with clients to identify improvement opportunities and maintain consistently high levels of client satisfaction and loyalty.
-Align closely with Client's Resource Management function to understand delivery capability for sales opportunities.

-Experience working with 3rd party software providers on joint value propositions
-Experience working with a Client Relationship Management (CRM) tool to manage the sales process.
-Readiness to travel to all client locations to source deals and maintain client relationships
-Bachelor's Degree

Desired requirements:

-Experience selling specific integration services for Murex, Advent Geneva, Sophis and Calypso.
-Business Development experience in building strategic relationships with Independent Software Vendors.

Compensation:

Base salary plus commission plan based on margin and signed deals. Commission is paid quarterly for recognized revenue.

Position Overview

With a technical background and proven game development experience, the Technical Director is uniquely qualified to understand the big picture of game development. The Technical Director would gather metrics, challenge and set standards & guidelines, understand data and work flow, think strategically, and define and direct the development process. The TD would work with the development tm as an independent auditor, consultant, and director.

Key Responsibilities

- Responsible for all technical process and technology within assigned teams and their related needs across a Business Unit and/or Studio.
- Provide strategic planning and direction.
- Accountable for all technology on a large project or several small projects.
- Accountable for overall technical design; influence and approve overall architecture; ensure design is reviewed.
- Accountable for overall code quality; ensure code is cross platform and reusable and testable; ensure code is reviewed.
- Accountable for overall performance; define metrics and sets targets.
- Oversee all internal and external project dependencies, risks and critical paths; ensure contingency plan is in place; recommend solutions and approve plan & timelines; understand overall impact on all stakeholders.

Required Technical Skills and Experience:

- must have 10-15 yrs of experience, with at lest 7 yrs in the online space
- Must have game industry experience in order to apply.
- The TD must be able to understand and (ideally) perform any task performed by ld programmers and programmers.
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent training and professional experience.
- Excellent level of proficiency with C++ (Visual C++ or Visual .NET highly recommended).
- Experience in object-oriented design and implementation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of good software engineering practices.
- Project management skills demonstrated by the ability to define tasks in a well organized manner, based on proper resource and time management.
- Excellent detail-oriented, problem solving skills. Candidate must be able to quickly identify issues and resolve them.
- Understanding of memory management, multiple processor use, and runtime optimization.
- Must have a thorough understanding of the key aspects of game development including detailed knowledge of pre-production, production and post-production.
- Working knowledge in two or more domains (i.e. AI, Rendering, FE, Tools, Animation) of a game.

Additional Skills

- The ideal candidate has shipped at least three video game titles; and has a minimum of eight yrs of technical experience in the video game or related industry.
- Published games should reflect hands-on experience on PS2, Xbox, GameCube, PSP, DS and/or PS3, Xbox360, wii development.
- Avid gamer with a passion for creating top-quality games.
- Experience with RenderWare or commercial rendering/game engine.
- Experience with assembler (MIPS, VU Code), scripting languages (Perl, Python, Lua) and interpreted languages (C#, Java).
- Fluency with graphics tools such as Maya, MotionBuilder and Photoshop.
- Masters Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

As a senior member of the minerals sales team (including oil sands), promoting pilot-scale process testing offered by our client, includes test-work, equipment and expertise.  
 
Specific responsibilities

Implements campaigns and strategies to promote the sale of our client’s technical services with a particular focus on oil sands processing services. Visits existing clients to maintain business and to develop new business opportunities. Develops and actions campaigns and strategies to develop new business and ensure the sale of services. Meets with contacts to explore potential and to negotiate sales contracts.
- Independently develops, collaborates and negotiates sales proposals, responses to quotes, RFP / RFQs and tenders, and contracts, working closely with out client’s staff to ensure that project scope, schedules and budgets are accurately planned, monitored, communicated and met.
- Represents our client at Trade Shows and Conferences. Pursues opportunities to expand company profile and client relationships.
- Participates in strategic planning projects of the oil sands group.
 
Profile

- Bachelors degree in chemistry or a related technical discipline.
- A minimum of five (5)years industrial sales experience, preferably in the petroleum or oil sands sector with the ability to understand and present technical products and interact effectively with technical people (e.g. R and D professionals, operations, quality etc).
- Must be able to travel, often at short notice.
- Must have a proven track record in developing and maintain key account relationships at all levels of industrial organizations.
