Ontario Territory Sales Manager

Our client is an international laboratory diagnostic company that is expanding into Canada.
This key position, based in the Greater Toronto Area, reports directly to the Group Vice President, North America and is responsible for continuing the successful launch of the company’s new instrument.
The company’s revolutionary new analyzer already has six Ontario teaching hospitals as new customers.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Create and execute an effective territory sales plan for Ontario, with a specific focus on the Toronto market.
- Establish, manage and maintain relationships with key pathologists and hematologists.
- Conduct sales calls on all key hospital staff with the aim of moving the sales process forward.
- Organize and conduct instrument demonstrations and evaluations.
- Attend regional, provincial and national medical tradeshows and conferences.
- Be willing to travel to respond to customer inquiries from other provinces, as needed.
- Work closely with the Group Vice President, North America and other company staff to achieve instrument and revenue goals.
Qualification of the Desired Candidate:
- Successful laboratory capital equipment sales experience.
- Experience in selling to pathologists and hematologists.
- Thorough knowledge of the principles of hematology as well as the Ontario hospital market.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently
- Possess a strong attention to detail and have superior organizational skills.
- A record of accomplishment, which demonstrates initiative, creativity and effectiveness.

Our client is an established clinical stage biopharmaceutical company
with a strong drug candidate pipeline. The company’s lead compound
is currently in a Phase II clinical trial and an IND for its second indication
will soon be submitted.
This key preclinical position, based in London, reports directly to the
Project Manager of Drug Development and is responsible for defining, organizing
and leading various drug development projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities Include
• Manage timelines and coordinate meetings with key research and
development staff, corporate staff and consultants
• Establish, manage and maintain all communication links between
the drug development team, consultants, contract research organizations
(CROs) and regulatory agencies
• Critically review a diverse portfolio of project documents, including
study protocols, data and final reports; regulatory communications and
submissions; and legal documents, such as contracts and payment schedules
• Manage the preparation of packages for submission to various regulatory
bodies such as the US-FDA and Health Canada
• Evaluate projects and studies using a risk/benefit approach to
determine the path for moving a project forward
Qualifications of the Desired Candidate
• Master’s Degree, ideally in toxicology and/or pharmacology
• 2-3 years experience in preclinical drug development specifically
designing and implementing animal studies
• Thorough knowledge of GLP and ICH guidelines
• Strong written communication skills and the ability to effectively
communicate the progress of a project to colleagues at all levels and
across all disciplines
• Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to manage team expectations
and work dynamically managing a project team comprised of scientists,
physicians, consultants and other program staff
• Proven ability to work both independently as well as part of a
team
• Possess a strong attention to detail and have superior organizational
skills
• Ability to manage sensitive information appropriately
• A record of accomplishment, which demonstrates initiative, creativity
and effectiveness

Investment Analysis & Research and a Financial Analyst (2 positions)

Our client is a global leader in healthcare investing with over 1 billion
under management. Through their strategic relationships, the company has
access to sufficient capital to close any royalty transaction or structured
financial transaction, regardless of size. As a result of rapid growth,
two new positions have been established.
Key elements of the position include:
• To add value to the Investment Analysis Research Group by working
together with members of the Funds and independently in conducting due
diligence for investment opportunities.
• Conducting assessments of the commercial and technical attractiveness
of investment opportunities by referencing analyst reports, scientific
literature and various publications.
• Preparing and presenting preliminary opportunity assessment to
the senior management team and making investment recommendations.
• Generate regional and global patient-bared forecast models for
pharmaceuticals, medical devices and diagnostic products.
Qualifications:
• Forecasting experience gained through a role in the pharmaceutical
industry or investing banking; proficiency with financial modeling and
statistical analysis software would be advantageous
• Strong analytical and interpretive skills; excellent organization
skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of an integrated
team
• A minimum Bachelor’s degree in the Life Sciences
• An MBA
• 3-5 years experience would be ideal
Financial Analyst role:
• Similar to Director’s role, however the Analyst would be
updating forecasts and maintaining and monitoring the various investments
• A Life Sciences degree and an MBA are essential
• A recent MBA graduate would be suitable
