How We Work
We know that each client and each position is different; so our Partners
customize our Processes to each search. Typically the process follows
these five steps.
Step I – Strategic Overview
The first initiative is to gain a comprehensive understanding of all the
dynamics involved in each new position, including business/technical requirements
as well as the unique aspects of the organizations culture.
Step II – Develop Search Template
Through a detailed process, we develop an understanding of the management
styles that flourish in an organization, as well as what has to be done
in a particular position and how it has to be done. The result is a written
case study or Briefing Document which candidates are measured against.
Step III - Execution ‘Targeting’
Partners must identify the universe of specific talent by sourcing qualified
prospects in targeted firms using our ‘360 degree Search Process’
including:
• Developing a Search Marketing Plan, Outreach Plan and Direct
Recruitment Plan
• Developing targeted job ads, direct mail and electronic contact
methods
• Developing prospect Longlist for direct recruitment
Step
IV – Execution ‘Shortlist’
Partners offer a written assessment of each candidate compared to the
briefing document and present a short list of qualified, interested candidates
that fit your organizational style. At the clients request we also offer
a 3-4 minute video clip interview, which enables a client to see a broader
selection of candidates. We can assist client with preparation of candidate
interview questions and secondary evaluation methods to ensure depth and
consistency in the evaluation process
Step V – Closing the search
After reviewing the Short List with the client, Partners will arrange
for interviews which can take place at the DERHAK IRELAND offices, should
the client prefer. Once a final candidate has been selected, Partners
can assist with salary negotiations, testing if required, confirming references,
plus facilitating the employment letter and any other transition. Our
CHRP Partner also conducts ongoing follow up with candidates at various
intervals thereafter.
